BLUE
LEAF
" Sibylle's joy of gardening inspired our Blue
Leaf design. The floral decoration is in the Sumi-e style of
painting. The Japanese meaning of Sumi-e is " no bones ". The artist
works from a blank surface without a " skeletal " drawing as a painting
guide. Each petal is created with a single spontaneous brush stroke.
The palette remains the same from piece to piece. Every unit has
a motif that gives your collection a one of a kind look adding a
sparkle of originality to your decor.

CHERRY BLOSSOM
" Cherry Blossom's
adorn these slab built forms shaped with movement in mind. A separate
technique was developed to allow a loose and non-precise shape to
every form. This combined with the individual brush decoration make
every piece stand alone. Each blossom , leaf and branch is created
with a separate single brush stroke in the Japanese Sumi-e style.
Sumi-e means , " no bones " referring to the artist not using a
skeletal guide to produce a painting. Great skill is required to
execute a design with only a mental plan once the first stroke is
made through through to the completion of a spontaneous motif.

MOONSCAPES
Our inspiration for Moonscapes comes
from the moon as viewed from earth. The look of the moons cratered
surface is both visible and tactile on the surface of these forms.
